Did you know ...
1. I name my pets after my favorite characters in books. My current dog is named Sirius, after Sirius Black, Harry Potter’s godfather.
2. I am currently in a race with my mother to visit the most states and countries. My mother has all 50 states and I only has 42, I has 13 countries and my mother has 14.
3. I worked as a teacher before I became a writer. I often kill off former students in my novels–at their request.
4. I am a Gryffindor to her friends but a Slytherin to my characters.
5. As a kid, I grew her hair long in order to be like my hero, Princess Leia.
